Good Fashion Centre

Good Fashion Centre is a brainchild of Susanna Mensah and Ana Plastinina who met through a community of fashion professionals in London. Having realized their communal passion—as well as an industry-wide need—for providing an innovative approach and corresponding solutions for fostering a new generation of fashion professionals, they founded Good Fashion Centre effectively back in 2022.

Our founders

Susanna and Ana are real-life industry practitioners whose training and professional backgrounds are complimentary to each other. Ana oversees Centre's Business Department and she is responsible for contributing Marketing-related expertise to our clients. Susanna oversees Centre's Sustainability, Design & Innovation Department and she attends to clients on the corresponding projects.

Susanna Mensah

Susanna is a fashion industry expert with nearly 15 years of experience in garment technology, production and consultancy fields. Throughout her career, she has worked with such brands as Jack Wills, Alexander McQueen and Asos, which allowed her to acquire a deep firsthand insight into the fashion industry.A pivotal trip to Ghana in 2012 sparked up her commitment to sustainability after witnessing the consequences of fast fashion there in the markets like Kantamanto. In response, in 2020, she founded Semsah—a consultancy platform and sewing community dedicated to extending garment lifespan through repair, upcycling and other circular fashion initiatives one stitch at a time.
By collaborating with sewing experts and local councils, Susanna hosts courses on ethical fashion and sewing workshops for both fashion consumers and professionals alike and she is deeply involved with fashion brands and production plants on their upcycling and repurposing deadstock assignments.Susanna and her family are based in the Netherlands.

Ana Plastinina

Ana is a fashion entrepreneur, consultant and educator with nearly 15 years of rich international experience. She founded her first project, a bilingual fashion media platform, in 2011 in Shanghai, which then quickly turned into a full-cycle showroom and consultancy.In 2020, Ana authored '"I AM" GOD OF FASHION, a book exploring the world of fashion from the perspective of Christian faith. Later that year, she launched an eponymous platform, dedicated to teaching, researching and consulting on the fashion-instigated societal and marketplace issues.At the moment, she extensively runs online courses, business seminars and continues to provide her business expertise for a variety of fashion projects and related initiatives worldwide.Ana holds a Masters in Fashion Business & Retail from IFA PARIS/POLIMODA and her office is based in London.
